Superkül

The sustainable architectural and design firm, Superkül, is based in Toronto and is led by principals Andre D’Elia and Meg Graham. Superkül is regarded as one of Canada’s top small design firms. It was established in Toronto in 2002 and has a wide spectrum of professional experience both domestically and overseas. Numerous honours and publications of their work on a local, national, and worldwide level are the results of their dedication to design excellence, realism, and sustainability. They have been driven by a single goal ever since they first opened their company in 2002: to design distinctive, beautiful, and functional structures and spaces, which is the structure of real, long-lasting value. This is based on the idea that excellent design is a method, not an idea. Superkül is based on the premise that an integrated strategy and a collaborative process lead to the best design.
The company has a wide range of project types in its portfolio, from small-scale commercial or institutional work and master planning to garden design and single-family homes. Their approach to diversity is marked by a variety of factors. Their portfolio covers a purposeful range of sizes and complexity, from residential, institutional, and commercial structures to master planning and feasibility analyses. Their team is made up of creative individuals from diverse backgrounds who each add unique talents and expertise. They are honoured and happy that so much of their hard work has been acknowledged throughout the years by several architectures and design awards. Each new project gives them another chance to reimagine and express the physical form of the world they live in through the principles of their practice. Their shared understanding of context and a spirit of modest restraint that allows the natural character of the construction site and the building materials to emerge are what define their work. For them, excellent design is genuine. There is just enough. Source: Superkül
